Miss Christina Chi Ding

Miss Ding is an experienced consultant gynaecologist and an accredited subspecialist in reproductive medicine and minimal invasive surgery.

She specialises in subfertility, IVF, fertility preservation, fibroids, polycystic ovaries, endometriosis and uterine septum/adhesions, pelvic pain, menstrual disorders and early pregnancy problems.

She has a vast experience in investigations and tertiary treatment (such as IVF) of fertility problems. In addition, she is an expert in advanced minimal access (Laparoscopic and hysteroscopic) surgery, 3D ultrasound for the management of endometriosis, fibroids and ovarian cysts etc.

Miss Ding graduated from Imperial College London in 1999. She underwent SHO & Specialist registrar training at Oxford (John Radcliff Hospital) and Cambridge rotation (Addenbrooke’s hospital). She then undertook a research fellowship in reproductive medicine at the University of Edinburgh, followed by a sub-specialty fellowship in reproductive medicine and minimal access surgery at Liverpool Women’s hospital. She has been a consultant gynaecologist and an accredited subspecialist in reproductive medicine at Epsom & St Helier NHS Hospital since 2010.

Miss Ding has published widely in the field of reproductive medicine. She has also chaired and spoken in various meetings and training courses at national level.

She is a recognised teacher and trainer on many nationally and internationally recognised courses, for training in Gynaecology and infertility at numerous faculties, including the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), British Fertility Society (BFS).

Miss Ding is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), the British Fertility Society (BFS), European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE).

Specialist interests

Infertility, IVF, fertility preservation treatment (Oncology & Social), minimal access (key-hole) surgery, 3-D ultrasound scan fibroids, endometriosis, uterine anomalies including uterine septum, miscarriage, polycystic ovaries, , heavy and irregular menstrual bleeding, pelvic pain.
